Nursery Fees Policy
If parents require an early drop-off, additional charges apply:
• 15 minutes – £7
• 30 minutes – £10
Children’s three meals and two snacks are included in the standard nursery fees.
For families using government-funded hours, please note that the funding does not cover the cost of meals.
A daily meal charge of £12.50 applies to cover breakfast, lunch, tea, and two snacks.
On registering a child with the nursery, the contracting parent will be asked to sign an agreement confirming they accept the nursery’s fee policy.
The nursery reserves the right to review and adjust fees annually at the end of the financial year (before April). Parents will be notified of any changes at least 4 weeks in advance or as early as possible before the new fees take effect.
Fees are payable one week in advance, and a two-week deposit is required upon registration.
Each child is entitled to two weeks of holiday per year at no charge, provided notice is given in advance.
Families with more than one child attending will receive a 25% discount on fees for the second child (applied to the lower fee).
If a parent indicates that fees will be paid by the other parent, they will be reminded that the contracting parent remains legally responsible for all payments. The nursery will accept payment from either parent; however, if payment is not received on time, it is the contracting parent who will be held accountable, in accordance with our fee policy.
Fees are payable weekly, in advance, and must be paid by the first day of each week. Fees cover all sessions the child is enrolled in — including sessions missed due to illness, absence, or holidays.
In the event of prolonged illness:
-
Week 1: full fee payable
-
Week 2: 50% of the fee payable
-
Week 3 onwards: no charge
To qualify for a discount due to illness, a doctor’s note or other suitable proof of the child’s medical condition is required.

Late and Non-Payment of Fees Policy
The nursery would try to avoid any situation which would lead to a dispute between the nursery and the parent over the late payment or, in extreme cases, non-payment of fees.
The parents must understand that non-payment of fees may jeopardize the place.
We accept payments to our Nursery bank account, and on very rare occasions, in cash.
Our Treasurer, Svetlana Karpaviciene, recommends making the payment on Monday to ensure it appears in our online bank account by Friday. If the payment is not received by Friday, a reminder will be sent.
If the payment has not been settled in full in 4 weeks the Nursery can then demand that the parents of the child withdraw the nursery place until all monies have been settled in full.
After 8 weeks of Non-payment court proceedings will be initiated. All legal and court costs will be included in the final bill amount outstanding including any tracing fees.
If a parent at any time experience payment difficulties please talk to the Nursery Manager, who will endeavor to help with any situation.
If the child no longer wishes to use the place, parents must agree to give one month’s notice of their intention to leave and should understand that they will be required to pay the fees due during the whole notice period or may decide that the last two weeks can be free of charge just to return deposit money.
The fees may be subject to periodic reviews, increases will be notified at least one month in advance.
Deposit Policy
When a child is offered a place at the nursery, a two-week deposit is required. This deposit must be paid in advance and before the child’s first full day at Nursery Moksliukas. The deposit secures your child’s place, and once received, that place will not be offered to another family.
Parents will also be asked to complete a Security Deposit Form at the time of payment.
The amount of the deposit is based on the number of days the child is scheduled to attend each week.
For example:
-
If the child attends 5 days per week, the deposit equals 10 days of fees
-
If the child attends 3 days per week, the deposit equals 6 days of fees
If parents request to change the number of attendance days during the year, they will be required to adjust the deposit accordingly — ensuring it continues to cover the cost of two full weeks based on the new schedule.
