Our pre-school rooms offer stimulating and exciting activities that stretch skills and imagination, giving your child a head start when they begin school.

Our carers in pre-school help children feel successful and very special, treating them as respected individuals. High standards are achieved by implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which outlines the Prime and Specific Areas of a child’s development. The Prime Areas of development are: Personal, Social, and Emotional Development (PSED); Physical Development (PD); and Communication and Language Development (CLD). These Prime Areas are fundamental throughout the EYFS and help children develop rapidly in response to relationships and experiences. They also underpin and support learning in all other areas. The Specific Areas are: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.

This is an environment in which children will flourish and become more confident and independent with each day.

Alongside the EYFS curriculum, we promote Christian values by introducing a weekly letter-based Bible story. Each week, children learn a new letter of the alphabet through a Bible story that corresponds with that letter, supporting both their literacy development and spiritual growth. Additionally, children learn Psalms, sing Christian nursery rhymes, and participate in daily prayers. This approach nurtures their faith and language skills in a warm and caring environment.
