Admission and Waiting List Procedure

All parents/carers are welcomed who sincerely seek Christian education for their children and are willing to participate in the life of the Church and the Nursery community in nurturing the Christian faith. If parents wish to have their child in our Nursery but practice other faith- there are no barriers, everyone is welcome.

We use a waiting list to register enquiries based on the date on application form, days requested/flexibility. Enquiries made either by phone or in person will be handled by a senior member of staff who will provide full information about the nursery and the fee structure. Parents are welcome to visit the nursery and meet staff members but before that they have to arrange a meeting with nursery manager or deputy manager what time is the best to come. Most of the time we offer visits from 10am to 12pm or 4:30pm to 5:30pm. The senior member of staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have. After visiting the nursery, if a place is required and we have a free place for your child, an application form must be completed and a security deposit form filled and two weeks’ deposit paid (as this secures your child’s place). If no immediate place is available details will be placed upon the waiting list. The application date is recorded and it is our aim to allocate places in date order, although existing parents may get preference. If you decide to take a place, then we will arrange settling in sessions which are set out in our settling in policy.

Unless we will not have further contact with you, your application form will be removed from the waiting list after a period of 18 months.

Visitors to the setting will not be permitted to the nursery. However, prospective parents at the manager’s discretion visit the setting outside of operational hours. They must adhere to hygiene practices outlined elsewhere (for all people in the setting) and social distancing between the members of staff conducting the tour and the prospective parents.
